Volunteer Commitment
We ask that volunteers attend a short training session prior to the event. At the training session you will receive info regarding parking, food/beverages for you and your volunteer duties. It's a great opportunity to meet and network with others.
You will be contacted in the future about the time and places of training sessions.

Intake and Guest Services Volunteers: These volunteers assist with intake of each guest that comes to the event. During the intake process volunteers will be responsible for sitting down and talking with each guest. During this conversation, volunteers will ask the guest some questions in order to help the guest connect with the services they most need and want. After the intake process the volunteer will hand the guest a map of all of the services available, circling recommendations for the guest, and guiding the guest to the services. The volunteer will introduce the guest to the service providers they want to talk with, help answer any questions the guest has, and simply listen to and support the guest while they are at the St. Paul RiverCentre.
